GENERAL INFORMATION

 

Purpose of NAHS:

 

  • To ensure and recognize those students who have shown outstanding ability in art

  • To foster excellence and a dedicated spirit to the pursuit of art

  • To further creative abilities and talents of the Society's members, as well as the school's entire student enrollment

  • To aid members in working toward the attainment of their highest potential in an art area

  • To bring art to the attention of the school and community

  • To increase an awareness of art in relation to other areas of the school curriculum.

 

Ground Rules of NAHS:

 

  • ALWAYS FILL OUT AND TURN IN A POINT SHEET (OUTSIDE SCOTT'S ROOM) WHEN YOU FINISH A SERVICE POINT ACTIVITY! MAKE SURE IT IS SIGNED BY SCOTT OR AN APPROVED ADULT. IF WHOMEVER SIGNS IS NOT THERE, KEEP IT WITH YOU TILL YOU MEET THEM OR DISCUSS WITH THE OFFICERS (PRESIDENT).

  • Weekend Projects requires you to show photo evidence that you actually went. (preferably a selfie or full body picture) 

  • 1/2 reduction for last minute cancellations or no show to a project you signed up for

  • Extra point if your artwork places in a show

  • Be on time!

  • Keep your word.

  • Attendance is mandatory (please notify Scott or any officer -- or on Remind is fine -- if you truly cannot attend due to an emergency or plans already made)
